I've noticed that I'm always experiencing vaginal bleeding, and it's bright red blood, but it's not during my menstrual period. I'm not sure if I've contracted some serious illness. What could be causing vaginal bleeding?

Causes of vaginal bleeding: 1. Pregnancy-related: In early pregnancy, low hormone levels or external factors may lead to threatened miscarriage or similar conditions, resulting in vaginal bleeding. 2. Inflammatory infections: Reproductive system inflammations such as endometritis, vaginitis, and cervicitis may cause light vaginal bleeding. 3. Endocrine disorders: Hormonal imbalances and endocrine disturbances in women are common causes of vaginal bleeding. 4. Trauma and foreign bodies: Injury to the vaginal wall caused by gynecological surgical instruments, rough sexual intercourse, or presence of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and other vaginal foreign bodies may also lead to bleeding. 5. Tumors and lesions: Genital tumors such as uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer, as well as benign conditions like endometrial polyps, can all cause vaginal bleeding. Vaginal bleeding has many possible causes. Any occurrence of non-menstrual bleeding should prompt timely medical evaluation to determine the underlying cause through professional examination.
