Symptoms of cataracts mainly include the following aspects: 1. Decreased vision: The most obvious symptom in cataract patients is gradually declining vision, primarily caused by lens opacity blocking light from reaching the retina. 2. Blurred vision: Lens opacity leads to blurred vision, especially when the central part of the lens becomes cloudy, making the blurriness more pronounced. 3. Color perception changes: Patients may experience altered color vision, such as colors appearing duller or distorted. 4. Monocular diplopia: When the lens swells or becomes opaque, it may cause abnormal light refraction, leading to double or multiple images in one eye. 5. Glare and poor night vision: Cataract patients may experience glare, particularly under bright light, and their night vision may also deteriorate.
