What to do about early maturation in children's growth and development
Disease description:
Recently, I noticed my child has started growing facial hair, and I suspect precocious puberty. What should I do about early childhood growth and development?
When children experience precocious puberty, treatment options include:
1. Medication: According to medical advice, administer gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs via injection to suppress sex hormone secretion, delay pubertal development, and improve adult height. The treatment process may last two years or longer, during which potential drug side effects should be carefully monitored.
2. Dietary adjustments: Reduce consumption of foods high in hormones or sex hormones, such as bee larvae, royal jelly, and snow frog (snow gland), as well as fried, greasy foods, and carbonated beverages that may contribute to obesity. Increase intake of fresh fruits and vegetables to maintain balanced nutrition.
3. Lifestyle modifications: Avoid using topical skincare products containing glucocorticoids, estrogen, or other hormones; refrain from using contraceptives. Minimize excessive light exposure during sleep caused by sleeping with lights on, and reduce the use of plastic products and other items that may contribute to early puberty.
