What are the symptoms of anal warts?
Disease description:
In the past few days, I've been experiencing sharp pain around my anus, along with many small papules. I'm worried it might be caused by an anal condition. What are the symptoms of anal warts?

Anal warts, commonly known as genital warts, are a sexually transmitted infection primarily caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). The main symptoms include:
1. Skin abnormalities: Skin growths appear around the anus. Initially, they may look like fine tufts or scattered small papillae, but as the condition progresses, they can develop into clustered, flower-like warts, typically appearing dirty gray or light red in color.
2. Itching and pain: The anal area often experiences itching. If not promptly and effectively treated, pain may also occur.
3. Increased discharge: There is an increase in anal discharge, which may have a slight odor.
4. Bleeding: Minor bleeding may occur during bowel movements, usually due to friction or irritation of the warts.
Anal warts can be transmitted through sexual contact. Therefore, if any of the above symptoms appear, it is recommended to seek medical evaluation promptly for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
