Disease description:

My eyes were slightly red and swollen yesterday, and my vision seems to have decreased as well. I see colored halos around lights. My mom said it might be uveitis. What are the early symptoms of uveitis?

Early symptoms of iriditis mainly include eye pain, blurred vision, and photophobia. Patients may experience a dull or sharp pain deep within the eye, and as inflammation worsens, the pain may become more severe. Blurred vision is another common early symptom, as inflammation of the iris can cause clouding of the fluid inside the eye, interfering with the normal transmission of light. Patients are often particularly sensitive to light, finding even ordinary lighting uncomfortable, and thus frequently need to avoid bright light exposure. In addition to these symptoms, iriditis may also be accompanied by signs such as ocular congestion, redness, and tearing. These symptoms may appear individually or simultaneously. Once these symptoms occur, it is recommended to seek medical attention promptly for professional diagnosis and treatment.
