What symptoms can superficial chronic gastritis cause?
Disease description:
For the past two days, I have been experiencing a persistent feeling of fullness and bloating in the stomach after meals, along with acid reflux and belching. I suspect it might be superficial chronic gastritis. What symptoms can superficial chronic gastritis cause?

The main symptoms caused by chronic superficial gastritis include:
1. Upper abdominal pain, which is the most common symptom, occurring in about 85% of patients. It typically presents as irregular, diffuse burning pain, dull pain, or distension in the upper abdomen.
2. Abdominal distension, experienced by approximately 70% of patients. This is often due to food retention, delayed gastric emptying, and indigestion.
3. Belching, seen in about 50% of patients, caused by increased gas in the stomach.
In addition, patients may also experience nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, acid regurgitation, fatigue, constipation, or diarrhea. A few patients may present with weight loss and anemia. If the above symptoms occur, prompt medical consultation and treatment are recommended.
