What should you pay attention to when drinking milk?
Disease description:
I saw on TV that milk contains abundant protein and can provide balanced nutrition, so I plan to drink a glass every morning. May I ask what should be paid attention to when drinking milk?

Precautions for drinking milk:
1. Avoid drinking on an empty stomach: Drinking milk on an empty stomach can accelerate intestinal peristalsis, causing the protein in milk to rapidly convert into energy and be consumed, which is not conducive to the full absorption of nutrients. It is recommended to eat some food before or while drinking milk.
2. Avoid consuming with acidic foods: Consuming milk together with acidic foods (such as fruit juice) may cause the protein in milk to coagulate and precipitate, affecting digestion and absorption, and may even lead to indigestion or diarrhea.
3. Drink in moderation: Although milk is beneficial, more is not necessarily better. The recommended daily intake of milk is 200–400 mL, and should not exceed 500 mL. Excessive intake may have adverse effects on health.
4. Avoid taking medication with milk: Minerals in milk may chemically react with certain medications, affecting their effectiveness. Therefore, it is not recommended to drink milk one hour before or after taking medication.
