Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis, also known as purpuric nephritis, is a type of hypersensitivity vascular disease triggered by allergic reactions. Its main features include skin purpura and associated kidney damage, manifested as hematuria, proteinuria, and cylindruria. Occasionally, symptoms such as edema, hypertension, and renal failure may also be observed. Treatment methods: 1. General treatment: Ensure adequate rest, avoid exposure to allergens, prevent colds, and enhance physical health. 2. Anti-allergy treatment: Oral administration of antihistamines such as loratadine and cetirizine to reduce allergic reactions. 3. Symptomatic treatment: For kidney-related symptoms, medications such as irbesartan and potassium losartan may be used to reduce urinary protein. For patients with nephrotic syndrome, combination therapy with glucocorticoids and immunosuppressants may be prescribed. 4. Dietary management: Avoid foods that may trigger allergies, such as fish, shrimp, crab, and pollen. Consume more fresh vegetables and fruits.
