After kidney removal, the following points should be noted: 1. Dietary adjustment: Maintain a bland diet, limit intake of salt and alcohol, increase intake of high-quality protein, reduce plant-based protein and high-protein foods, and maintain a moderate body weight. 2. Rest and exercise: Adequate rest is necessary after surgery; avoid strenuous activities and excessive fatigue, which may affect recovery. As the body gradually recovers, light physical activities may be appropriately resumed. 3. Regular follow-up: Closely monitor physical changes and seek timely medical review if any abnormalities occur. It is recommended to have a medical checkup every six months or once a year to monitor kidney function and overall health. 4. Infection prevention: Maintain wound hygiene and regularly change wound dressings to prevent infection. Also, prevent respiratory infections such as colds, which may interfere with recovery. 5. Avoid nephrotoxic drugs: When treating other diseases, avoid using nephrotoxic drugs in order to protect the function of the remaining kidney.
