The symptoms of heatstroke can be categorized into the following types according to their severity: 1. Early signs of heatstroke: These include headache, dizziness, thirst, excessive sweating, weakness in the limbs, difficulty concentrating, and normal or slightly elevated body temperature. These symptoms typically appear in the early stages of heatstroke and represent the body's initial response to a high-temperature environment. 2. Mild heatstroke: In addition to the symptoms of early signs, body temperature rises above 38°C, accompanied by facial flushing, hot skin, rapid pulse, decreased blood pressure, and cold, clammy extremities. At this stage, the affected individual requires prompt treatment and rest. 3. Severe heatstroke: This includes heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke (heat illness). Heat cramps manifest as muscle spasms and pain; heat exhaustion may present with cold, clammy skin, pallor, nausea and vomiting, and a weak, rapid pulse; heatstroke is the most severe form of heat illness, characterized by high fever (above 40°C), absence of sweating, impaired consciousness, or even coma. Individuals exhibiting these symptoms require immediate medical attention and emergency treatment.
