What are the symptoms of duodenal ulcer?
Disease description:
In recent consecutive days, there has been indigestion, with symptoms of abdominal pain and bloating. I suspect it might be duodenal ulcer. What are the symptoms of a duodenal ulcer?

The main symptoms of duodenal ulcers include:
1. Upper abdominal pain: Characteristically located in the middle to upper abdomen on the right side, the pain may be dull, burning, mild, or sharp. It is often chronic, cyclical, and rhythmic, typically occurring 3-4 hours after a meal or at night, and relieved by eating.
2. Acid regurgitation and heartburn: Due to excessive gastric acid secretion, patients frequently experience acid regurgitation and a burning sensation in the chest or throat, with a sour or acidic taste possibly present in the mouth.
3. Dyspepsia: Symptoms include reduced appetite, epigastric discomfort, abdominal bloating, and belching. Patients may eat frequently to relieve pain, leading to weight changes.
4. Blood in stool: Severe ulcers may erode blood vessels, causing bleeding, which may present as bloody stool or black tarry stools (melena).
5. Other symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, or constipation may also occur.
