Oseltamivir phosphate granules cannot directly reduce fever. It is an antiviral medication primarily used for treating influenza A and B viral infections by inhibiting the release of virus from infected cells, thereby reducing viral replication and spread, achieving the purpose of treating the disease. Although oseltamivir phosphate granules can alleviate associated symptoms caused by influenza virus infection, such as fever, cough, and nasal congestion, it does not have a direct fever-reducing effect. When patients develop a high fever, if body temperature exceeds 38.5°C, it is recommended to use antipyretic medications such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen according to medical advice to help lower body temperature.
