How long can a person live with late-stage cervical cancer?
Disease description:
I discovered through self-examination that I have cervical cancer, which has made me very concerned about my health. Although it is at an early stage, I am still worried it may progress to an advanced stage. I would like to ask the doctor: how long can a person live with advanced cervical cancer?

The survival time of patients with advanced cervical cancer varies from individual to individual, and thus it is impossible to provide an exact answer.
Pathological type and stage are important factors influencing the survival time of patients with advanced cervical cancer. Advanced cervical cancer usually refers to stages Ⅲ and Ⅳ, and the 5-year survival rate for these patients is relatively low, approximately between 30% and 40%, or even lower.
The patient's age, physical condition, severity of illness, and whether they receive active treatment can also affect survival time. Patients who are younger, have better physical condition, have relatively less severe disease, and actively undergo treatment may have a relatively longer survival time.
Selection of treatment plans and treatment effectiveness are also key factors. If the treatment plan is appropriate and the response to treatment is good, the patient's survival time may be prolonged.
