Can blepharospasm resolve on its own?
Disease description:
Recently, my eyelid has been twitching and spasming, which is quite amazing and intriguing. I wonder if eyelid spasms can resolve on their own?

Blepharospasm, also known as eyelid twitching or eyelid tremor, is usually a temporary condition caused by factors such as fatigue, stress, excessive caffeine intake, or dehydration. Most mild and transient cases resolve spontaneously without specific treatment. Appropriate rest, stress reduction, dietary adjustments (such as decreasing caffeine consumption), and adequate hydration are generally sufficient to alleviate symptoms.
Note that if eyelid spasms persist and begin to affect daily activities, they may indicate chronic blepharospasm or a disorder related to the facial nerve. In such cases, spontaneous resolution is unlikely, and medical evaluation is necessary.
