The treatment of miliaria in newborns requires a comprehensive approach. It is important to maintain a suitable indoor environment and avoid excessive heat, which can cause heavy sweating in newborns and worsen the miliaria. Attention should be paid to keeping the newborn's skin clean, using non-irritating cleansing and skincare products, and gently wiping skin folds. After bathing, an appropriate amount of moisturizing cream may be applied. If symptoms are mild, with proper care they usually subside within 2–3 weeks. If symptoms of miliaria are significant or accompanied by infection, medication under a physician's guidance is recommended. For example, 1% calamine lotion may be used to relieve symptoms, or topical medications such as triamcinolone acetonide and econazole nitrate cream may be applied. If lesions are accompanied by infection, antibiotic ointments such as erythromycin ointment should be applied. In addition, parents should ensure the newborn wears soft, breathable clothing to avoid skin friction and irritation. Maintaining good indoor air circulation, along with appropriate temperature and humidity levels, also aids in the newborn's recovery. Parents should closely monitor changes in the infant's condition and follow the physician's guidance for appropriate management.
