Can hemorrhagic fever be cured?
Disease description:
I have a history of liver disease, and my physical condition has been poor recently. I have also developed hemorrhagic fever. I would like to know whether hemorrhagic fever can be cured.
Hemorrhagic fever, also known as epidemic hemorrhagic fever, is a zoonotic disease caused by the epidemic hemorrhagic fever virus. It can be cured in most cases, especially when timely and effective treatment is provided early, resulting in a relatively high cure rate.
However, as the disease progresses, the difficulty of treatment gradually increases. In the later stages, patients may develop severe complications such as renal failure and heart failure. At this point, the likelihood of recovery significantly decreases and the mortality rate rises.
Treatment of hemorrhagic fever mainly focuses on prevention and symptomatic management. Different treatment strategies are employed depending on the stage of disease progression, including treatments during the fever phase, hypotensive shock phase, oliguric phase, diuretic phase, convalescent phase, and management of complications.
