How to Supplement Estrogen
I have been experiencing irregular menstruation recently, and I suspect it might be due to estrogen deficiency. I would like to know how I can supplement estrogen.

Estrogen is an important hormone in the female body. Its levels may decline with age, especially after menopause, leading to various uncomfortable symptoms. Common methods of estrogen supplementation include:
1. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT): A doctor may prescribe estrogen-containing medications, such as oral tablets, patches, vaginal creams, or gels, to help relieve menopausal symptoms. The dosage and type are tailored to individual needs.
2. Plant-based foods: Foods rich in phytoestrogens, such as soy products (soybeans, tofu, soy milk), flaxseeds, sesame seeds, onions, and certain vegetables, can provide natural plant estrogens, although their effects are generally weaker.
3. Lifestyle modifications: Maintaining a healthy weight and engaging in regular physical activity, especially aerobic exercise, can help support the body's natural estrogen balance. Reducing stress and ensuring adequate sleep are also beneficial.
Estrogen supplementation should be conducted under the guidance of a physician.
