Five Situations of Hand Skin Peeling
Disease description:
I've noticed that my fingers have been peeling recently, and my doctor said it's quite normal. I'd like to ask, what are the five common causes of hand peeling?
Peeling skin on the hands may be caused by the following five conditions:
1. Dermatitis: Such as contact dermatitis, solar dermatitis, and insect bite dermatitis, which may damage the skin on the hands, leading to peeling, accompanied by symptoms such as itching and pain.
2. Tinea manuum (Hand fungus): Usually related to fungal infection; as the infection worsens, it causes peeling of the hands, often accompanied by itching.
3. Dyshidrotic eczema: May be associated with environmental factors, genetic factors, and psychological factors. It easily causes blisters on the hands, followed by gradual peeling, accompanied by a prickling sensation.
4. Eczema: May be related to psychological factors, humid environments, and other factors. It easily causes red papules on the hands, accompanied by peeling, itching, and pain.
5. Psoriasis: A relatively common skin disease associated with environmental and genetic factors, which can cause peeling of the hands.
