Symptoms of cervical nerve compression
Disease description:
Recently, I have been feeling uncomfortable in my neck and experiencing dizziness. Could this be due to cervical nerve compression?
Nerve compression caused by cervical spondylosis commonly presents with the following symptoms:
1. Neck pain: Often starts in the neck and may radiate to the shoulder, upper back, or arm. The pain may be persistent and worsens with activity or prolonged maintenance of the same posture.
2. Numbness in the shoulders and upper limbs: A "pins and needles" sensation in the fingers, palms, or upper arms, or a loss of normal touch sensation as if wearing gloves.
3. Muscle weakness: Decreased strength in the hands or arms, weakened grip, which may sometimes affect daily activities such as holding objects or writing.
4. Neck stiffness: Limited neck rotation or tilting, which may lead to difficulty turning the head.
If these symptoms occur, seek medical attention promptly.
