How to Remove Blackheads
Disease description:
I have quite a few blackheads on my nose, commonly referred to as a "strawberry nose." I want to effectively get rid of these blackheads and would like to know how to remove them properly.

Blackheads are small black spots formed when a mixture of sebum and keratin blocks the hair follicle openings and becomes oxidized. Methods for removing blackheads include the following:
1. Maintain facial cleanliness: Use a gentle facial cleanser to ensure proper facial hygiene. While washing your face, you can gently massage your nose with your hands to help open the pores and reduce blackhead formation.
2. Use of pore strips: Apply a pore strip directly onto the area with blackheads and wait for a period of time before peeling it off. This can help remove blackheads to some extent. However, frequent use is not recommended as it may damage the pores.
3. Topical medications: Keratolytic agents such as tretinoin cream or adapalene gel can be used to dissolve keratin, aiding in the removal of blackheads. However, these medications may irritate the skin and should be used according to medical guidance.
4. Chemical peeling with fruit acids: Applying high-concentration fruit acid onto the skin surface stimulates the skin's acidity to promote pore dilation and blackhead removal. Fruit acid peeling can also effectively shrink pores and reduce blackheads.
5. Laser therapy: Laser treatment works by applying photothermal energy directly onto the blackhead-affected areas, destroying blackhead tissues and promoting skin regeneration. Laser therapy offers significant results and rapid recovery.
