Weakness: Patients may feel general fatigue and low energy. 3. Weakness of the jaw muscles: This is a typical early symptom of tetanus. Patients may experience difficulty chewing or weakness in the jaw muscles. 4. Irritability and restlessness: Due to nervous system involvement, patients may exhibit emotional agitation and restlessness. 5. Fever: As a result of Clostridium tetani infection, patients may develop a mild fever with body temperature ranging from 38°C to 39°C. 6. Persistent cough: Tetanus can cause a persistent cough resembling a dog's bark. 7. Significant blood pressure fluctuations: Tetanus can cause erratic changes in blood pressure, affecting the heart and causing symptoms such as shortness of breath and palpitations.
