Early Symptoms of Lymph Node Tumors
I have been experiencing frequent fever lately, and the area around my lymph nodes is very painful. I'm worried it might be a tumor. May I ask, what are the early symptoms of lymph node tumors?
Lymph node tumors, commonly referred to as lymphoma, may present the following manifestations in the early stages:
1. Swollen lymph nodes: A common symptom is the appearance of painless, enlarged lymph nodes in certain areas of the body (such as the neck, armpits, or groin). These nodes are usually firm and movable. Initially, swelling may occur in only one location, but multiple sites may become involved as the disease progresses.
2. Fatigue: Early-stage patients may experience persistent fatigue that cannot be relieved by rest, potentially caused by anemia due to abnormal white blood cells.
3. Weight loss: Unexplained weight loss may occur over a short period without intentional dieting.
4. Fever and night sweats: Irregular fever and increased sweating, particularly during sleep, may develop.
If lymph node enlargement or other related symptoms persist, prompt medical attention is recommended.
