Early symptoms of endometrial cancer
Disease description:
I am 42 years old and have recently noticed excessive vaginal discharge. I am worried it might be endometrial cancer and would like to know about the early symptoms of endometrial cancer.
Endometrial cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in gynecology. Early symptoms may not be typical, but the following points may be early signs:
1. Vaginal bleeding: The most common symptom is abnormal vaginal bleeding, including bleeding outside the menstrual cycle, prolonged menstruation, or increased bleeding. This kind of bleeding may occur in postmenopausal women. For premenopausal women, it may manifest as irregular menstrual cycles with bleeding.
2. Vaginal discharge: Some patients may experience white or blood-tinged vaginal discharge, sometimes accompanied by an unpleasant odor.
3. Lower abdominal pain or discomfort: There may be pain, dull ache, or a feeling of fullness in the lower abdomen, although these symptoms usually become more evident as the disease progresses.
4. Frequent urination or constipation: When the tumor grows large enough to affect nearby organs, symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, or difficulty in defecation may occur.
Note that any abnormal vaginal bleeding or persistent lower abdominal discomfort should be evaluated by a healthcare professional promptly.
