Increased dandruff is usually caused by excessive sebum secretion from the scalp, overgrowth of skin fungi, or increased skin sensitivity. Suggestions for treating and managing dandruff: 1. Oral medications: For individuals with excessive dandruff, treatment may involve oral administration of certain medications, such as B-complex vitamins, including vitamin B6 or B2, or compound vitamin B. 2. Topical medications: Antifungal agents can be used, such as 2% ketoconazole shampoo. This medication can inhibit the proliferation of Malassezia furfur and effectively remove dandruff. 3. Use anti-dandruff shampoo: Choose shampoos containing active ingredients such as sulfur or ketoconazole, which help inhibit fungal growth and reduce scalp sebum production. Use 2-3 times per week until symptoms improve. 4. Scalp massage: While washing your hair, gently massage the scalp with the pads of your fingers to help the shampoo clean the scalp more effectively and promote blood circulation. 5. Maintain scalp cleanliness: Avoid oily hair by washing your hair daily or every other day to control sebum secretion.
