The instructions for using ovulation test strips are as follows: 1. Determine the testing time: It is recommended to start testing on day 11 of the menstrual cycle and continue for several days until an ovulation signal is detected. 2. Collect urine: Use a clean, dry container to collect urine. The optimal time for collection is between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Avoid using first morning urine, and reduce fluid intake for at least two hours before collection to ensure adequate urine concentration. 3. Perform the test: Dip the test end of the ovulation strip into the urine, ensuring that the liquid level does not exceed the indicated line. Remove the strip after approximately three seconds and lay it flat. 4. Read the results: Wait 10–20 minutes before observing the results. Results should be read within 30 minutes. If the test displays two red lines (either one darker than the other or of equal intensity), it indicates that ovulation may be about to occur or is currently happening. If only one red line appears, ovulation may not have occurred. Ovulation test strips are intended only as an auxiliary tool for monitoring ovulation. Their accuracy may be affected by various factors, such as medication use and fluctuations in hormone levels. Therefore, it is recommended to use additional methods (e.g., ultrasound monitoring) in conjunction with these tests, under the guidance of a healthcare professional, for a comprehensive assessment.
