How to improve poor spleen and stomach function
Disease description:
I am 32 years old this year, and my overall health is not very good, particularly regarding my spleen and stomach. I tend to get sick easily. I would like to know how to regulate and improve the function of my spleen and stomach.
Poor spleen and stomach function refers to weakness or dysfunction of the spleen and stomach, commonly manifested as poor appetite, abdominal distension, indigestion, and other symptoms. Regulation of the spleen and stomach can be achieved through the following methods:
1. Dietary adjustment: Choose easily digestible foods such as congee and noodles, and avoid irritating foods such as greasy, spicy foods and cold beverages. Moderately increase intake of foods rich in vitamins and minerals, such as vegetables and fruits, which can help improve spleen and stomach function. Appropriate walking after meals can aid digestion.
2. Lifestyle habits: Maintain a regular daily routine and avoid staying up late. Schedule meal times regularly, eating in moderation and avoiding overeating. Avoid excessive emotional fluctuations, maintain a positive mental state, and reduce negative effects on the spleen and stomach.
3. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) regulation: According to TCM theory, regulation of spleen and stomach function can be assisted by using certain herbs that strengthen the spleen and stomach, such as Astragalus (Huang Qi) and Codonopsis (Dang Shen). Acupuncture or massage therapy may also be used to promote circulation of Qi and blood in the spleen and stomach.
If spleen and stomach problems persist or are accompanied by severe symptoms, prompt medical consultation is recommended.
