Why do herpes sores appear on the body?
Disease description:
Recently, I noticed small blister-like bumps appearing on my grandmother's body, and I suspect they may be caused by the herpes virus. Why would blisters develop on the body?

Common causes of skin rashes include:
1. Viral infection: The most common rashes are caused by herpes viruses, such as herpes simplex virus and varicella-zoster virus. These viruses can cause skin rashes and rash-like lesions after infection.
2. Immune system disorders: Certain immune system abnormalities or immunosuppressive states may lead to reactivation of viruses or other pathogenic microorganisms, resulting in rashes.
3. Skin trauma or burns: Skin injuries, burns, or other damages may cause tissue damage and infection, leading to the development of rashes.
4. Autoimmune diseases: Certain autoimmune diseases, such as pemphigus, may also cause skin rashes.
5. Genetic factors: If immediate family members have rash-related diseases, the risk of developing similar conditions may increase in offspring.
6. Physical factors: Tissue damage caused by burns, frostbite, or similar conditions may also lead to the occurrence of rashes.
