Thyroid nodules categorized as Class 3 are generally not serious in most cases.

1. Malignant risk: Thyroid nodules categorized as Class 3 in the ultrasound assessment classification are considered probably benign, with a relatively low risk of malignancy.

2. Nodule characteristics: These nodules are mostly round or oval, with clear boundaries. The echogenicity is usually isoechoic or hyperechoic, and there is typically no significant blood flow signal or only minimal blood flow.

3. Follow-up observation: For patients with thyroid nodules categorized as Class 3, doctors generally recommend regular thyroid ultrasound examinations, usually every 6 to 12 months, to monitor changes in the nodule's size, shape, and margins.

4. Precautions: Although most Class 3 thyroid nodules are benign, the possibility of malignancy cannot be completely ruled out. If significant nodule enlargement, changes in shape, or unclear boundaries—suspicious signs of malignancy—are observed, prompt medical evaluation and management are necessary.
