How to eat dandelion
Recently, I have been feeling dry mouth and throat quite often. So I asked my friend to mail me some dandelion from our hometown, as I heard dandelion can help relieve these symptoms. However, I don't know how to consume it. May I ask, how should dandelion be eaten?

Dandelion can be used both as medicine and as food. Common ways to consume it include:
1. Stir-frying: For example, dandelion stir-fried with eggs. This dish combines the fragrance of dandelion and the deliciousness of eggs, making it nutritious and uniquely flavored.
2. Eating fresh: Fresh dandelion leaves can be washed and eaten raw, often used in salads, with a slightly bitter taste.
3. Boiling for tea: Both dandelion leaves and flowers can be dried and boiled to make dandelion tea, which may help alleviate symptoms of excessive internal heat and certain nodular diseases.
4. Cold-mixing: Washed dandelion leaves are briefly scalded with boiling water and then mixed with seasonings, making a refreshing dish suitable for summer consumption.
5. Making soup: Dandelion can be stewed with ingredients such as pork bones or chicken to enhance the nutrition and flavor of the soup.
Although dandelion is nutritious, it has a cold nature and should be consumed cautiously by individuals with weak spleen and stomach or yang deficiency with external cold symptoms. Additionally, dandelion contains oxalic acid, so it should be thoroughly washed before consumption to avoid excessive intake that may negatively affect the body.
