Symptoms of ADHD
I've noticed that my child is often fidgety and unable to stay still. I would like to ask, what are the symptoms of ADHD in children?

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), commonly known as ADHD, is a neurodevelopmental disorder that frequently occurs during childhood. Its main manifestations are divided into the following points:
1. Inattention: One of the core symptoms of ADHD is the patient's difficulty in maintaining prolonged attention. Patients are easily distracted by external stimuli and struggle to focus on studying, work, or other activities.
2. Hyperactivity: Patients often display an inability to remain quiet; they appear unusually active both in classroom settings and daily life, with difficulty controlling their behaviors.
3. Impulsive behavior: Patients often lack patience and demonstrate impulsive actions, struggling to control their emotions and impulses, which may lead to adverse consequences.
4. Learning difficulties: Due to inattention and excessive activity, individuals with ADHD typically encounter challenges in learning, which may affect academic performance.
Symptoms of ADHD must appear before the age of 12 and persist for at least six months across different environments (such as home and school) for a formal diagnosis to be made. If your child may have ADHD, please seek medical attention at a hospital promptly.
