Sinus bradycardia, commonly referred to as "sinus brady," is a type of arrhythmia. Specifically, it refers to a heart rate slower than the normal range, with the sinoatrial node discharging electrical impulses at a rate below 60 beats per minute. Generally, the lower limit is considered to be around 50 beats per minute. However, this does not necessarily indicate the presence of disease. In physically active individuals, such as athletes, high cardiac efficiency can commonly result in sinus bradycardia, which is regarded as a normal phenomenon.

In non-athlete populations, especially among the elderly or those with a history of heart disease, sinus bradycardia may suggest problems with the heart's conduction system, such as decreased sinoatrial node function or insufficient blood supply to the sinoatrial node artery. Patients may experience symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, and chest tightness; severe cases could potentially lead to syncope or cardiac arrest.

Treatment for sinus bradycardia depends on the individual patient's condition and may involve either pharmacological therapy or the implantation of a pacemaker. Additionally, patients should maintain healthy作息 (作息 should be translated as "lifestyle habits" or "daily routines") and habits, and undergo regular follow-up examinations to prevent worsening of the condition.
