What should I do about phimosis?
I noticed that I have a slight case of phimosis. Could this cause any problems? I'd like to ask the doctor what should be done in this situation?

Management methods for phimosis include the following:
1. Initial management: Gently wash the area with warm water and apply a lubricant, then slowly attempt to retract the foreskin to its normal position. Avoid excessive force to prevent further injury. Do not use any tools to forcibly retract the foreskin. Stay calm and avoid panic and excessive anxiety.
2. Emergency manual reduction: A physician may attempt manual reduction by gently pushing the foreskin back into place under local anesthesia. If manual reduction fails or complications such as severe edema, necrosis, or infection occur, circumcision or foreskin excision may be required to resolve the issue.
3. Pharmacological treatment: Pain relievers such as acetaminophen or sustained-release ibuprofen capsules may be administered as needed to alleviate pain. If there is a risk of infection, broad-spectrum antibiotics, such as penicillins or cephalosporins, may be given orally or intravenously.
4. Surgical treatment: If manual reduction fails or is accompanied by severe circulatory impairment, incision and reduction should be considered. The foreskin ring is incised longitudinally along the coronal sulcus of the glans penis to release the trapped portion, followed by wound closure with sutures.
