How long does it take for proteinuria foam to disappear?
If there is foam in the proteinuria, I would like to ask how long this condition can last before it disappears?

Proteinuria refers to an abnormally high level of protein in the urine. Under normal circumstances, the protein content in human urine is relatively low. The duration for proteinuria-related foam to disappear can be determined by the following factors:
1. Transient factors: If proteinuria is caused by vigorous exercise, fever, stress, prolonged standing, or emotional fluctuations, the foaming will gradually decrease and disappear within 24-48 hours after removing the triggering factors.
2. General condition: Normally, foam caused by proteinuria may dissipate within 3-5 minutes. This depends on both the concentration and type of protein present in the urine. When the protein level is significantly elevated, the foam may persist longer, sometimes even more than 10 minutes, or even fail to dissipate for a prolonged period.
3. Pathological factors: If persistent proteinuria is caused by chronic diseases such as chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, or hypertensive kidney damage, the foam may not disappear on its own. Medication and treatment are required to control the underlying condition, improve kidney function, and reduce protein leakage. This process may take several weeks to months.
