How to treat nephritis with proteinuria
Because I have nephritis, I recently discovered through testing that nephritis has caused proteinuria. I would like to ask the doctor, how can nephritis-related proteinuria be treated and cured?

Methods for treating proteinuria in nephritis include the following:
1. Low-salt diet: Limit daily sodium intake to less than 3g and encourage consumption of fresh vegetables and fruits to reduce the burden on the kidneys.
2. Blood pressure control: Hypertension is an important factor in worsening kidney damage. Antihypertensive medications such as ACE inhibitors or ARB drugs can not only control blood pressure but also reduce proteinuria.
3. Protein intake restriction: Appropriately reducing protein intake can alleviate the burden on the kidneys; however, adequate nutritional supply should still be ensured.
4. Medication therapy: Diuretics, glucocorticoids, cyclophosphamide, tacrolimus, ACE inhibitors, ARBs, and other medications may be used for treatment under a doctor's guidance.
5. Lifestyle modifications: Quitting smoking, limiting alcohol consumption, controlling body weight, and regular exercise can help improve kidney function. Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive physical strain.
6. Regular monitoring: Regular urine tests, 24-hour urinary protein quantification, and kidney function tests should be performed to allow timely adjustment of treatment plans.
