Can men with dwarfism have sexual function?
If a child is diagnosed with dwarfism, will they have sexual function in the future?

Dwarfism, medically referred to as "short stature," is primarily caused by a deficiency in growth hormone or abnormal skeletal development. Patients have short stature but their gonadal development and sexual function are generally unaffected.
Dwarfism is a condition characterized by delayed physical development due to insufficient secretion of growth hormone, which may result from either congenital or acquired factors. If male patients with dwarfism do not have a deficiency in other pituitary hormones—particularly gonadotropins—they usually have normal sexual function. This indicates they possess normal development of sexual organs and reproductive capacity.
If male patients with dwarfism also have a deficiency in gonadotropins, sexual function may be affected, as these hormones play a crucial role in the development and function of the male reproductive system.
