What should I do if I have problems with sexual function?
Recently, my sexual function has been deteriorating; the duration of intercourse is very short, usually only about three to five minutes. What should I do about poor sexual function?

Solutions for impaired sexual function include the following:
1. Comprehensive assessment: Conduct a comprehensive physical examination and related tests to rule out possible physiological causes such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and abnormal hormone levels. Also, pay attention to psychological status and determine if emotional factors such as anxiety or depression are present.
2. Adjust lifestyle: Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very important for improving sexual function. Ensure adequate sleep, reduce stress, quit smoking, and limit alcohol consumption. Moderate physical activity can also help enhance sexual function.
3. Balanced diet: A balanced diet provides the nutrients necessary for the body to maintain sexual function. Increase intake of foods rich in nutrients such as zinc and vitamin E, such as nuts, seeds, and certain fruits, which may benefit sexual function. Avoid excessive reliance on food to improve sexual function, as the effects may be minimal.
4. Medication: Some patients may consider using medications such as PDE5 inhibitors, but these should be used under the guidance of a physician.
