Tinea is a skin disease caused by fungal infection, mainly classified into types such as tinea capitis (scalp ringworm), tinea corporis (body ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea manuum (hand ringworm), tinea pedis (athlete's foot), and tinea unguium (onychomycosis).

1. Tinea capitis: Classified into yellow癣, white癣, black癣, and kerion. The main features include infection of the scalp and hair, accompanied by itching and scaling, with severe cases potentially leading to hair loss.

2. Tinea corporis: Commonly occurs on the trunk and limbs, presenting as round or oval red patches with clear borders and a tendency toward central healing, accompanied by mild itching.

3. Tinea cruris: Frequently develops on the inner thighs and buttocks,表现为 red patches and papules with raised borders and flat central areas, often accompanied by intense itching.

4. Tinea unguium: The fingernails or toenails thicken, become deformed, lose their luster, turn yellow or gray-white, and debris may accumulate beneath the nail plate.

5. Tinea manuum and tinea pedis: Infect the skin of the palms, between the fingers, and on the feet,表现为 blisters, peeling, cracks, etc., sometimes accompanied by itching and pain. Tinea pedis commonly occurs in summer and tends to be more severe.

Symptoms of tinea typically include skin itching, dryness, redness, rash or papules, and skin peeling. If concerned, seek medical attention promptly.
