3. Improper sleeping posture: During nighttime sleep, if the leg muscles are held in an uncomfortable position, cramps may occur.

4. Hypocalcemia: When blood calcium levels decrease, neuromuscular excitability increases, potentially causing muscle cramps. This condition is commonly seen in pregnant women, elderly individuals, and those with inadequate calcium intake or poor absorption.

5. Electrolyte imbalance: Imbalances in the body's electrolytes can also lead to muscle cramps. This may be related to improper diet, excessive sweating, or kidney disease.
