Some common symptoms of bone necrosis:
1. Pain: This is the most common symptom, typically localized to the affected joint or bone area. The pain may develop gradually and is often associated with activity, initially occurring only during specific movements or weight-bearing.
2. Joint stiffness: The affected joint may feel stiff, leading to difficulty in movement and disruption of daily activities.
3. Swelling: Bone necrosis can cause inflammation and swelling in the tissues surrounding the joint, which is the body's response to injury.
4. Limping: If the femoral head is affected, patients may develop a limp, as the body attempts to reduce pressure on the affected joint.
5. Localized warmth: The affected area may feel warm due to inflammation and impaired blood circulation.
