I'm a bit shorter than my peers, and it's been bothering me mentally. I'd like to ask if there is any reliable method to help me grow taller?

Height is primarily influenced by genetic and environmental factors, with genetic factors accounting for about 70% and environmental factors, including nutrition, exercise, and sleep, making up the remaining 30%. Therefore, it is important for individuals, especially adolescents in their growth and development stage, to adopt appropriate methods to increase their height.
1. Balanced diet: Ensure adequate intake of nutrients, especially those rich in protein, calcium, and vitamin D. High-quality protein sources include meat, fish, legumes, and dairy products; calcium-rich foods include milk, yogurt, and leafy green vegetables. Additionally, moderate intake of vitamin D can promote calcium absorption and support bone health.
2. Regular exercise: Choose suitable forms of exercise such as basketball, jumping rope, and swimming, which can stimulate bone growth and strengthen muscles. Exercise should be done in moderation to avoid overexertion and potential harm to the body. Moreover, outdoor activities help the body absorb sunlight, promoting vitamin D synthesis.
3. Sufficient sleep: Sleep is crucial for growth and development. During sleep, the body secretes growth hormone, which promotes bone and muscle growth. Therefore, maintaining adequate sleep duration, especially during the peak growth hormone secretion period from 10 PM to 2 AM, is highly beneficial for increasing height.
