Disease description:

Recently, it's the best season to eat loaches. I bought a lot of loaches from the vegetable market, but my mom said I should also pay attention to related dietary taboos. So, what foods should not be consumed together with loaches?

Foods that should not be consumed with loach:

1. Foods containing tannic acid: such as persimmons, tea, walnuts, etc. Tannic acid may combine with proteins in loach to form precipitates that are difficult to digest, possibly causing indigestion or abdominal pain.

2. High-fat foods: Loach itself contains a certain amount of fat; consuming it together with other high-fat foods may increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract and be detrimental to individuals with cardiovascular diseases such as hyperlipidemia and hypertension.

3. Raw or cold foods: Loach has a warm nature, and consuming it with raw or cold foods may lead to internal disharmony between cold and heat, causing discomfort symptoms such as diarrhea and abdominal pain.

4. Dog meat and artemisia: Loach should also be avoided with foods such as dog meat and artemisia, as this may reduce nutritional value and affect digestion and absorption.
