Caution is advised when consuming ginger with the following foods:

1. Consumption with highly acidic foods: Ginger itself has a certain degree of irritation. When consumed with large amounts of highly acidic foods, it may increase gastric acid secretion, potentially worsening gastric discomfort in patients with gastric ulcers or gastritis.

2. Concurrent use with certain medications: Ginger contains gingerol, which has anticoagulant properties. Therefore, excessive consumption of ginger should be avoided when taking anticoagulant medications, as it may enhance anticoagulant effects and increase the risk of bleeding. Similarly, ginger may also affect the metabolism of medications such as hypoglycemic agents and antihypertensive drugs, and specific guidance from a physician should be followed.

3. For individuals with specific medical conditions: Patients with biliary system diseases such as cholecystitis or gallstones should be cautious, as excessive ginger consumption may stimulate bile secretion and worsen their condition. Additionally, individuals with impaired kidney function should limit ginger intake because ginger contains high levels of potassium, and excessive intake may impose an additional burden on the kidneys.

Note: Excessive ginger consumption should be avoided to prevent symptoms such as gastric heat or other discomforts.
