Pregnancy test sticks are simple tools used by women to detect whether they are pregnant. These testing devices primarily detect the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in a woman's urine. The pregnancy test stick determines pregnancy by reacting with hCG in the urine using an embedded detection agent. The usage method is relatively simple, but to ensure accuracy, the following steps are recommended:

1. Choose the timing: It is generally recommended to use the test on the first day after the expected menstrual period or later, as the hCG levels in the body are higher at this time, leading to more accurate results.

2. Preparation: Ensure the pregnancy test stick has not expired, and check the instructions to see if first morning urine is required, as some tests recommend using morning urine for more accurate results. Keep hands clean and dry when removing the test stick.

3. Collect urine: Use a clean container to collect the urine sample, making sure the urine is not contaminated.

4. Testing: Dip the end of the pregnancy test stick marked with the "MAX" line into the urine, ensuring not to submerge beyond the "MAX" line. Remove it after approximately 5-10 seconds and lay it flat to wait for the result.

5. Reading the result: If two lines or a plus sign (indicating a positive result) appears, it suggests pregnancy. If only one line or a minus sign (indicating a negative result) appears, it suggests no pregnancy.
