Dr. Shen Yonghua

The treatment of superficial erosive gastritis should take into account the causes, symptoms, and individual differences of the patient, and can be approached from the following aspects:

1. Dietary regulation: Patients should eliminate triggers such as smoking and alcohol consumption, eat less spicy and irritating foods, avoid overeating, follow a light and easily digestible diet, and consume more foods rich in vitamins.

2. Daily life management: Patients should maintain a clean, quiet, and comfortable living environment, ensure good sleep quality and sufficient sleep duration, maintain regular作息 (作息 here should be translated as "作息" refers to daily routine), avoid staying up late and excessive fatigue, and engage in appropriate exercise to enhance immunity.

3. Medication therapy: Drugs that inhibit gastric acid secretion, such as omeprazole enteric-coated capsules and lansoprazole enteric-coated capsules, are commonly used for treatment. Medications that may damage the gastric mucosa, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), should be discontinued. Concurrently, mucosal protective agents such as teprenone and alginate magnesium trisilicate may be used to promote mucosal healing. If the condition is caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, quadruple therapy should be used for eradication. Additionally, symptomatic treatment is necessary—for example, antacids can be used to relieve symptoms such as heartburn and stomach pain. During treatment, regular gastroscopic follow-up is required to evaluate therapeutic response and monitor disease progression, with adjustment of the treatment plan when necessary.
