What to eat for light menstrual flow
In the past two to three months, my menstrual flow has been very light. Are there any foods that can help regulate menstrual flow? What should I eat to increase menstrual flow?
Light menstrual flow may be caused by various factors, including but not limited to hormonal imbalances, malnutrition, mental stress, being underweight or overweight. The following foods may help regulate menstrual flow:
1. Iron-rich foods: such as red meat, animal liver, spinach, legumes, etc., which help replenish iron and prevent anemia.
2. Foods with high iron content: commonly including fish, lamb liver, pork liver, etc. These foods have a blood-nourishing effect and can effectively alleviate light menstrual flow.
3. Foods rich in vitamin C: such as citrus fruits, strawberries, tomatoes, etc., which promote iron absorption and enhance immune function.
4. Whole grains: such as wheat, corn, purple glutinous rice, and other whole grains, as well as fiber-rich foods like sweet potatoes, which help relieve constipation and improve overall physical condition.
5. Fresh vegetables and fruits: such as lychee, bayberry, apple, pomelo, and other fresh fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins and minerals, which help improve light menstrual flow.
