What are the items included in pre-pregnancy checkups?
I'm pregnant and have been preparing for pregnancy recently. I need to undergo examinations and would like to know what items are included in the pre-pregnancy checkup?

During the preconception period, to ensure both partners are in good health for pregnancy and to increase the chances of conception, it is recommended to undergo a series of medical examinations. These mainly include the following:
1. Physical examination: Assessing cardiopulmonary function, measuring blood pressure, performing electrocardiogram (ECG), calculating body mass index (BMI), and adjusting pre-pregnancy weight to an appropriate level.
2. Gynecological examination: Evaluating the health of the reproductive system and ruling out conditions such as inflammation or tumors.
3. Blood tests: Complete blood count (CBC) to assess indicators such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets; blood typing and ABO hemolysis testing to prevent hemolytic reactions in the fetus during pregnancy and delivery.
4. Male examination: Semen analysis, sperm morphology assessment, and sex hormone testing to evaluate male fertility.
5. Thyroid function tests: Abnormal thyroid function may affect maternal health during pregnancy.
6. Other tests: Urinalysis, dental examination, liver and kidney function tests, and ECG, to comprehensively assess the overall health status of both partners.
