Symptoms of Pulpitis
I have been experiencing frequent toothaches recently, and it feels like my entire mouth is painful. I would like to ask the doctor what might be the issue?

Pulpitis is an inflammatory disease occurring in the dental pulp tissue inside the tooth, primarily caused by bacterial infection. Its main symptoms include:
1. Temperature sensitivity: The patient's teeth are extremely sensitive to cold and hot stimuli, and discomfort may even occur at normal temperatures.
2. Poorly localized pain: The tooth may experience pain without obvious external stimulation, and the pain is difficult to pinpoint, possibly feeling as if the entire area is painful.
3. Pain on biting: When chewing food, the patient's tooth may experience significant pain, sometimes to the extent of avoiding biting altogether.
4. Severe pain: This is the most important symptom of pulpitis. The pain can be either continuous or intermittent, and the pain tends to intensify at night.
5. Swollen gums: When the inflammation is severe, the surrounding gums may become red and swollen, and abscesses may even form.
6. Tooth discoloration: As the condition progresses, the affected tooth may gradually darken or change color.
