Angular cheilitis, commonly known as "cracked mouth corners," is a common type of lip inflammation. Its treatment mainly includes the following aspects:

1. Wet compress: Use clean gauze or towel soaked in warm water or normal saline to gently apply on the affected corner of the mouth, which helps soften the crust and relieve pain.

2. Improve lifestyle habits: Patients should avoid bad habits such as frequently licking or biting the lips, minimize exposure to wind and sun, maintain sufficient sleep and a positive mindset, and enhance overall immunity. Additionally, avoid peeling or tearing the skin at the corners of the mouth with hands to prevent infection.

3. Adjust diet: Patients should reduce consumption of spicy and irritating foods to minimize irritation to the oral mucosa. It is recommended to consume more foods rich in vitamin B, such as legumes, milk, eggs, animal liver, millet, and various vegetables, to help supplement the body's nutritional needs.

4. Local care: Lip balms containing vitamin E or honey can be applied to moisturize and aid in repairing damaged skin. For severe cases of angular cheilitis, topical corticosteroid ointments may be used under a doctor's guidance to reduce inflammation.
