What are the symptoms of intracranial hemorrhage after hitting the head?
I wasn't paying attention and fell downstairs. Since then, I've been experiencing persistent dizziness and am very worried about intracranial hemorrhage. I would like to ask, what are the symptoms of intracranial bleeding after hitting one's head?

Head trauma resulting in intracranial hemorrhage is a severe type of head injury. Common symptoms include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Headache and dizziness: The headache is often severe and persistent, possibly accompanied by dizziness, caused by increased intracranial pressure and irritation of brain tissue due to bleeding.
2. Impaired consciousness: This may manifest as drowsiness, stupor, or even coma. If the hemorrhage is large in volume or occurs in critical areas such as the thalamus or brainstem, consciousness may deteriorate rapidly, posing a life-threatening situation.
3. Vomiting: Often projectile in nature, it is one of the classic signs of elevated intracranial pressure.
4. Pupillary changes: For example, one pupil may become dilated or the two pupils may be unequal in size, which could indicate the formation of a cerebral hernia and is a sign of a dangerous condition.
5. Weakness in limbs: This may occur in one or both limbs, suggesting damage to the corresponding area of the brain that controls motor function of the limbs.
6. Other symptoms: Additional symptoms may include seizures, aphasia, vision loss, gait instability, and in severe cases, cardiac or respiratory arrest, which can be life-threatening.
