How to treat migraines
My father has always had migraines, which keep recurring without being completely cured. However, whenever the pain occurs, it's not very severe. I would like to ask what is the best way to treat migraines and whether there are any precautions to take?

The treatment of migraine mainly includes two aspects: pharmacological treatment and non-pharmacological treatment.
I. Pharmacological Treatment
1. Acute Attack Treatment: Aimed at rapidly and continuously relieving pain and reducing associated symptoms. Commonly used medications include single-ingredient analgesics such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and aspirin, as well as combination analgesics such as metamizole sodium tablets and Saridon. For severe migraine attacks, specific treatment medications such as triptans may be used.
2. Preventive Treatment: Aimed at reducing the frequency and severity of migraine attacks. Commonly used medications include calcium channel blockers, antiepileptic drugs, beta-blockers, and antidepressants.
II. Non-Pharmacological Treatment
1. Physical Therapies: Such as massage, physical therapy, and acupuncture, which can relieve migraine symptoms to some extent, although their effectiveness may be limited.
2. Lifestyle Modifications: Avoid chronic sleep deprivation, maintain a positive and optimistic mindset, and avoid prolonged exposure to loud noises, bright lights, loud sounds, and other external stimuli. Cultivate healthy eating habits, avoid excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, and prolonged intake of strongly stimulating beverages. Engage actively in physical exercise.
